LOIT Sees 45% Digital Sales Growth with Affiliate À La Carte Marketing Services

Luxury lifestyle and fashion retailer, LOIT, turned to affiliate marketing with two goals in mind: increase sales and amplify brand recognition. LOIT looked to Rakuten Affiliate Network’s À La Carte Marketing Services (AMS) team to assist with their launch. They chose the Strategic Launch Package (SLP) to develop the strategy and tactics needed for a successful affiliate program.

Their program went live in October 2016 and over a three-month period the AMS team provided the following services and support:

  • Private network and dashboard training
  • Publisher recruitment, activation, optimization and approvals
  • Publisher deal negotiations for both US & APAC partners
  • Fully managed network communication including publisher touch-points and newsletters 

The service delivered strong results for LOIT. Rakuten Affiliate Network publishers delivered 10% of total website traffic to theloit.com and directly contributed up to 45% of total monthly online sales. LOIT renewed their SLP service with a new focus on APAC partnerships and continued to reap the benefits of AMS support. APAC publisher sales represented 10% of total affiliate sales driven to the program and one of their APAC partners has risen to be one of their top 10 sales driving publishers.
