Ayanna Howard, Roboticist Extraordinaire, Will Keynote DealMaker New York 2019!

Ayanna Howard, this year’s DealMaker New York keynote speaker, has had a remarkable career in robotics to date. Professor Howard began as a senior robotics researcher at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and has now grown into the role of the Linda J. and Mark C. Smith Professor and Chair of the School of Interactive Computing in Georgia Institute of Technology’s College of Computing. Here she focuses her research on intelligent technologies with a specific look at how this technology will interact in our human world.

Professor Howard has seen much success to date with her work in artificial intelligence (AI), assistive technology and robotics resulting in more than 200 peer-reviewed publications. You may recognize her accomplishments from the many awards and articles she has been featured in. This includes USA Today, TIME magazine, and Business Insider declaring her one of the 23 most powerful women engineers in the world today.

During her keynote at DealMaker New York, Professor Howard will dive deeper into how AI will be sculpting the future of the work place.
