Acting on our commitment to delivering technology and services for the global market, our latest announcement will unify Rakuten Marketing offices worldwide.
Marking his 6th year at Rakuten Marketing, we are pleased to announce that Anthony Capano, previously Managing Director, EMEA, has been promoted to Managing Director of International. With much success in expanding our advertising solutions across Europe, Anthony’s new role will cover all territories outside of Japan and the USA.
Alignment and Strategy
Anthony’s tenure as MD, EMEA, was met with many opportunities for success and unification. He continued to prioritise the provision of a network for publishers as well as advertisers, facilitating valuable partnerships across the globe. Under Anthony’s direction, the Rakuten Marketing Affiliate Network has expanded to local merchants in Europe over the last 12 months. This further strengthened our EU footprint to deliver 31% YoY growth in sales across the continent.

Global Expansion
As the Managing Director who oversaw the launch of Rakuten Marketing in Australia and APAC, Anthony is no stranger to launching and growing Rakuten Marketing in new regions. Looking after Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America, we are looking forward to what Anthony has in store to progress our international business to help clients expand across borders.
