The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has created a series of unprecedented challenges for all of us around the world on a personal and a professional level. Our thoughts are, first and foremost, focused on making sure that everyone’s health and safety are taken care of during this difficult time.
Rakuten Advertising is taking steps to ensure the safety of our employees and the continuation of our business during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are closely monitoring the situation and are following the guidance of global and local health officials, including the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Simply put –we are open for business and are doing everything we can to ensure that our clients, prospects and publishers alike are still able to receive the high quality of service and strategic counsel that you have come to expect from us over the years.
Here is a look at what we have done and are continuing to do:
- Rakuten Advertising employees are working remotely in order to help mitigate the spread of the coronavirus and reduce the risk to our teams and communities.
- Our systems have been stress-tested to ensure that our employees are able to work remotely for an extended period of time. We are confident that we will be able to take care of all of your needs during this time.
- We have created an executive task force that is closely monitoring the situation to evaluate what we can do to better service our clients and determining next steps. Further, our client service and optimisation teams are monitoring performance trends so they can quickly respond to developments by recommending strategies that align with your changing business.
- While business relationships have historically been forged and fortified through in-person meetings, technology allows us to meet one-on-one with clients and prospects from anywhere in the world via video conferencing. This is being done to ensure the safety of all parties involved and to mitigate the spread of this virus.
We are going to make it through the next month and beyond together. The way we do business and live our lives right now has been altered, but we as a society are resilient and adaptable to change.
